Products Overview

Since 2004 ABZ Reporting develops software products in the scope of business reporting and XML processing/webservices. For continually improving our software most of our core technology is available as open source. Thus, we address a a broad community of users and improe the functionality and reliability of our software components as a result of international feedback. Our clients benefit from that idea because of competitive costs for software development and high quality for individual solutions specific to customer requirements.

XBRL DB Transformer
(commercial software)

The XBRL DB Transformer is built on our former ABRA XBRL Processor (Open Source Software). It couples the XBRL processor with the capabilities of a powerfull and highly scalable XML database. With "XBRL DB Transformer" you are able to process many XBRL taxonomies without loading all the taxonomy files into main memory. Look and see at WWW.ABRA-SEARCH.COM that the XBRL DB transformer easily processes more than 50 taxonomy modules at once! Furthermore, XBRL taxonomy extensions can be processed in an efficient way with XBRL DB Transformer. The transformer allows for an incremental loading of taxonomy modules without processing the whole taxonomy again and again. This feature is beneficial for consumers of XBRL filings and for an automated creation of XBRL documents as well. Compared to our former open source software we improved the performance and provide a better support for the processing of XBRL's referencing capabilities and new XBRL standards such as XBRL Dimensions or XBRL Generic Linkbases.

ABRA TaxonomyDoc
(open source, Apache 2.0 license)

The software for generating a complex taxonomy documentation is applied by numerous users. The IASCF uses the ABRA XBRL processor for the automated generation of their IFRS taxonomies presentations (IFRS Taxonomy Viewer). The generation of taxonomy documentation is based on a collection of XSLT stylesheets. Hence, it is easily applicable, it is adaptable to individual needs of jurisdictions and other standard setters or reporting companies.

ABRA TI Viewer
(open source, Apache 2.0 license)

The TIViewer is a free implementation for the rendering of instances and/or taxonomies. The visualization of instances and taxonomies of that software is extensible. Providing the source code of the TIViewer, it may be extendet with additional features (e.g. multi-lingual interface or signature of XBRL instances).

ABRA Taxonomy Search
(commercial software)

Coming along with the increasing complexity of accounting standards, the complexity of the XBRL taxonomies grows as well. Because of non-existing dedicated searching functionality (e.g. full-text search) or rather filtering of search results it is a difficult task finding of taxonomy concepts in XBRL browser. ABRA TaxonomySearch-Software enabled combination of multiple searching methods. That includes full-text search, reference search and documentation search and filtering of search results.

ABRA Formula Processor
(commercial software)

XBRL formula affords consistency checks or conversion of XBRL instances (mappings between different taxonomies). So it supports a great variety of business reporting applications. In particular the consumers of XBRL instances (government supervisors, regulators, national agencies) benefit from standardised processing of XBRL documents, because they are able to publish their validity criterions for filings and thus shift the validation to the producers of digital reports. The ABRA Formula Processor implements the processing model of the currently developed XBRL formula specification.
