ABRA TE Webinar

Basics and methods for using the XBRL processor

ABRA - Basics

Description and goal
XBRL processors are an essential tool for creating and processing XBRL documents. Although the XBRL standard is based on XML standards (XML Schema / XLink), in most cases, the sole use of XML development tools is not sufficient for the development of XBRL-compatible software.
The course will introduce the XBRL processor ABRA TE of the ABZ Reporting GmbH and implement typical applications of XBRL using examples. It also shows how the processor can be integrated into different system environments (e.g., as a software component in accounting software or as a server in mass processing interfaces).
Target group
Software developer, basic XBRL knowledge required.
Content
The following contents will be taught during this event:

  • Functionality of XBRL processors
  • Presentation of typical applications
  • Architecture and integration of the XBRL processor ABRA TE
  • Setting up a professional development environment (XBRL editor, XML editor, debugging, etc.)
  • Taxonomy initialization
  • Navigation through the XBRL data model
  • Typical application patterns based on examples with source code
  • Overview of expert functions (referencing of taxonomies and efficient DTS discovery, incremental loading of taxonomies, caching, URI resolution)
  • Creation of extension function
  • Performance tips
  • Overview of documentation and references

Additional Information
After the successful registration confirmation you will receive a link and a telephone dial-in number, which are required for participation in the webinar.
